Our Tree House Scenes - Take Two |

Our health and safety expert Chris Green was concerned that the rough terrain surrounding the tree house would require the use of mobile elevated working platforms as well as mobile towers. We did a bit of research and discovered these are very expensive pieces of kit to hire and we were going to need two for a week. Amazingly our research also uncovered Upward Powered Access Ltd. just a stones throw away from us on the Kingston Bagpuize Business Park. We gave Paul Johnson the owner a call with crossed fingers.
Once again another local business was willing to support us and we are very grateful for Paul's generosity enabling us to continue to protect our budget in order to ensure the village will benefit from profits generated by this film with it's 'golden share' Paul can be contacted on:

Local people will have noticed our fabulous Husband Obedience Trials banner which is displayed outside our production office. The eye-catching artwork was designed by local graphic designer Janet Brown who has also been working hard on a series of posters which will be used later on in our marketing campaign. We have been lucky enough to be sponsored by Complete Presentation who have provided us with branded t-shirts for our crew and branded aprons for our W.I. catering team as well as the film frenzy banner to display outside our production office, the photo shows Janet and her children admiring her handy work Complete Presentation is an Oxfordshire based company specialising in exhibition display banners and signs as well as digital printing. The owner, Craig Piper, has been an absolute star and as well as supporting us has said that he will offer discounts to all the other companies involved with helping us make the film. Historic Houses Association agree to help market film |

We were pleased to be approached by the Historic Housing Association who asked us if they could feature the making of The Husband Obedience Trials on their website. They have also very kindly offered to help us market our film when it is completed to their members. We have an additional make up artist on board in the form of local resident Bernadine Miller. Bernie popped into Aquarius Hair Salon last week to have her hair cut and on chatting to Vanessa about the film mentioned she is a trained make-up artist with film and television experience. Bernie was quickly scooped into the hair and make-up team and has been in the salon from 7am every morning perfecting the look of each character. Bernie was trained by Lisa Eldridge, make-up artist to stars such as Elizabeth Hurley, Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss to name just a few, so to say she knows her stuff is a mega understatement. The cast of The Husband Obedience Trials couldn’t be more delighted with their early morning makeovers. The hair and make-up team are working phenomenally hard and we are very grateful to them.
