Village Auditions Announced |

A great many of Kingston Bagpuize on Southmoor's finest actors and actresses have expressed their interest in auditioning for parts in the Husband Obedience Trials - and now the dates have been announced! Sunday 10th May will host a day of auditions for a host of different parts. More details about the roles that need filling will follow shortly so keep an eye out on the news section or sign up as a volunteer (left). If you've already signed up to volunteer your help, you'll automatically receive information about which parts are available. |

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Heart FM, the number one local commercial radio station for Oxfordshire and West Buckinghamshire, are supporting our film. The making of The Husband Obedience Trials is going to become an ongoing news story as they report on our progress. Additionally they will be bringing a stand to the village fete on June 27th. Writer and Director Guy Browning said "It's great having Heart on board. They're a genuinely local station and we're a genuinely local production! It also means our sponsors will be getting the coverage they richly deserve. Thanks Heart!" We're delighted to announce that the leading property rental specialists in Oxfordshire, Finders Keepers, have agreed to sponsor the Husband Obedience Trials.

An important character in the film is the young boy Harry. We need a very special young man to play this role so we've enlisted the help of Larkmead School in Abingdon which, as you may already know, is a Specialist Academy for the Performing Arts. Chris Harris, the inspirational headteacher there, got us together with their Head of Drama Andrea Phillips and their Head of Creative and Media Studies Linda Champion. Together we're going to run workshop auditions to help us cast the young Harry. We're also hoping that some of the older pupils will get involved in the production process as part of their studies.
